CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Senior Manager. As a Technical Senior Manager, you will be responsible for control, maintenance, project delivery and compliance of the Electrical infrastructure.
This role is required to lead on the oversight of the (Elec bias) installation works within the Citigroup centre portfolio, ensuring compliance to all statutory regulations and industry standards.
This role will form part of the Engineering operational team, acting as a subject matter expert for the electrical systems. You will act as a conduit between project delivery and operational teams to ensure 100% uptime throughout delivery and operations. You will construct and manage a robust Electrical maintenance regime for the Low voltage systems on site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and impact project design plans for the Electrical systems at site.
2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key project stakeholders.
3. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures.
4. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of systems.
5. Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
6. Positively impact the Electrical infrastructure operation and maintenance.
7. Embed and manage CBRE SSOW and controls to an auditable standard for the Electrical systems on site.
8. Ensure high quality delivery of PPM and reactive works to meet SLA.
9. Understand and implement QHSE policy requirements.
10. Embed and review risk assessments and audit H&S compliance of teams working on infrastructure.
11. Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
12. Develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and clients.
13. Management of CBRE sub-contractors works, ensuring accurate PPM task completion.
14. Coordination and reporting of remedial actions associated with CBRE partners.
15. Continual surveillance of Electrical systems and all works undertaken on the premises.
16. Commercial acumen and strong customer relationship skills.
17. Acting Duty HV/LV Authorised Person.
Experience Required:
Education:
1. C&Guilds or Higher NVQ level 3 qualification
2. Health & Safety qualification - NEEBOSH/IOSH or similar
3. HVAP/LVAP Authorised person
Skills:
1. Experience within Critical Banking
2. Experience within M&E delivery
3. Electrical engineering qualification
4. Demonstrable experience & understanding of Health & Safety
5. People management skills and team building experience
6. Good communicator, financial acumen, presentable, articulate
7. Well organised with good prioritisation and planning skills
8. Service orientated attitude combined with innovative thinking
9. Self-motivated with a high level of personal integrity
Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of Commercial Electrical systems design and installation
2. Knowledge of Commercial Electrical Distribution
3. Knowledge of BS87671
4. Knowledge of EAWR 1989
5. Knowledge of H&S requirements including RAs, Lock out Tag out, Permits to work
Experience:
1. Experience in Project Management
2. Experience in Project Design
3. Experience in main distribution board switching of ACBs
4. Experience in the operation and control of HV/LV infrastructure
5. Experience in Electrical Installation work
