Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be supporting the Accountant Manager. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent organisational skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the company sales and purchase ledgers on sage line 100
* Allocate payments received to customer accounts
* Resolve queries on accounts and log all calls
* Issue credit notes and refund payments
* Update the monthly fixed asset register
Skills
* Experience in a similar role is required
* Experience using SAGE 50 or 100 is essential
* General accounting experience-nominal ledger, sales ledger, purchase ledger (preferred)
* Computer literate with strong experience of MS Excel (essential)
