Based in Teesside, the company offers engineering, construction, and installation services to clients around the world. We are seeking skilled Electricians to join a growing team in marine and offshore services. THE ROLE The role will encompass, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Overseeing all personnel in the company workshop and on client sites or vessels, including company staff as well as contracted and subcontracted workers. Ensuring adherence to safe working practices and making certain that all employees, contractors, and visitors comply with the company’s Health & Safety policies. Conducting final tests on equipment, updating basic drawings in AutoCAD and EPlan, ordering materials, and assisting with on-site surveys and cost estimations for quotes. Creating job-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), managing on-site permits, and monitoring Permit to Work Risk Assessments (POWRAs). Upholding high standards of housekeeping, ensuring that personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly maintained and utilized. Verifying the time-sheets of employees and contractors. THE PERSON Minimum - Time served Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3. Experience in supervisory positions is required. Previous experience in the marine electrical field is beneficial, though not mandatory. Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematic drawings is essential. Successful candidates should be capable of working independently and adapting to changing circumstances. The role may involve direct interaction with customers, so we seek energetic and motivated individuals who can build strong, lasting relationships with clients.
