What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Planning peak schedules to ensure the network is correctly resourced and additional costs are aligned with the budget
* Ensure vehicles across the network are planned to be fully utilised and reduce vehicles scheduled per day per site
* Complete analysis of the planned KPI’s vs actual vs budget. Any variations to plan need to be challenged/understood
* Control costs in line with budgets and propose initiatives that will support cost reductions
* Communicate with colleagues, managers, internal and external contacts as required to ensure effective two-way communication exists to support achievement of agreed customer service levels
What skills you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience within a planning or operations environment that demonstrates the capability to schedule and implement a paragon schedule
* Results orientated, willing to take ownership for achieving targets
* Financially and commercially aware
* Able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement
