A specialist equipment hire company for global maritime and industrial sectors is seeking an Instrument Technician to maintain our Client’s equipment. The Instrument Technician will need to have a minimum level 3 in electronics, mechatronics or similar. In addition, have previous experience maintaining electronic instruments, have strong communication, teamwork, customer service and fault-finding skills. Also you will have a UK driving licence and passport as there will be occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various instruments and equipment
* Utilise mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix issues efficiently
* Interpret and follow schematics for accurate repairs and installations
* Provide exceptional customer service while addressing technical concerns
* Adhere to maintenance schedules and ensure equipment functionality
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
* Have minimum level 3 in electronics, mechatronics or similar
* Have previous experience maintaining instruments
* Strong communication, teamwork, customer service, time management, and fault-finding skills
* UK driving licence
Desirables:
* Have knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques
* Worked with seismic systems
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 DOE
