We are currently looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join our team in the manufacturing industry.
Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician
Reporting to the Production Manager, duties include preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as well as responding to emergency machine breakdowns throughout the plant. Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment on-site ensuring that they are safe, working efficiently, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventative & reactive maintenance of all manufacturing machinery
2. Overhaul, upkeep, and repair of all mechanical & pneumatic machinery, fault finding, testing, removal, and/or adjustments of existing fixtures & fittings
3. Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard
4. Produce & maintain jigs & fixtures to engineering drawings
5. Keeping management and relevant parties aware, seeking advice and assistance when required
6. Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner
7. Reliability & dependability essential with adaptability to a fast-paced environment
8. Time management and communication skills essential, ability to work on own initiative, log work and report any issues to Manager
Minimum Requirements:
1. Time served in repair and maintenance
2. Knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics
3. Experience and working knowledge of air tools, compressors, electrical (tools & equipment)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm.
Rate of Pay: Starting £33,000 P/A to £35,500 P/A; pay will increase once you go permanent.
Temporary role, could be long term.
Enbarr Office hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday if you call.
