Catnic is a leading steel manufacturer with a focus on sustainability and a presence in Caerphilly since 1969. The successful applicant for the Customer Service Representative will be someone who can act as a key contact for stakeholders and is proactive, reliable and a team player.
Role - Customer Service Representative
Pay - £12.31ph
Location- Catnic Ltd/TATA, Pontypandy Industrial Estate, Caerphilly CF83 3GL
(100% office based)
Shift pattern- Mon-Fri, standard office hours (flexible)
Duration- 12 months
Responsibilities:
1. Offering customer support to stakeholders, both internal and external
2. Acting as a focal point for operational matters relating to customers
3. Creating sales order and processing promptly and accurately
4. Providing quotations to customers in a timely manner
5. Managing the input of orders and ensuring availability of product
6. Signposting stakeholders in the right direction for queries you are unable to resolve
7. Working with operations and logistics departments to successfully meet the needs of the customer
8. Recording and resolving customer complaints
9. Retrieving and storing proof of delivery
10. Being involved in customer service improvement interventions
11. Adhering to UK Health and Safety legislation and company policies relating to such at all times
12. Collaborating data into IT systems
Experience needed:
13. Prior experience in a customer facing administrative role
14. Previous experience working with numerical data
15. Capacity to operate with minimal supervision
16. Strong IT literacy skills with MS Office
17. Experience with in house IT systems
18. Confident telephone manner
19. Strong verbal and written communication skills
20. Excellent interpersonal skills
21. Exceptional attention to detail
