Job Description
Based at our offices at Golborne and also on our site (Dawley) as required, the individual will ensure the effective ensure the effective management and delivery of multiple Energy contracts, ensuring programme requirements are met whilst working in line with both Company and divisional objectives and achieving the client and customer aspirations and expectations. To manage contracts to achieve targets in respect of safety, time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.
Management of construction activities
5. Constructability input into the planning phase of works.
6. Overall management of delivery teams during the build.
7. Resource planning to ensure suitably qualified and experienced personnel are available as required in line with the Construction programme.
8. Liaison with Project Manager to ensure resources levels are in line with budgeted expectations.
9. Ensuring project is on programme and managing any slippages to mitigate risk of overrun.
10. Ensuring comprehensive Method Statements and risk assessments are in place, reviewed and suitable for use on all sites works and that works are carried out in line with HSE and ULE requirements.
11. Quality- Ensuring standards of workmanship are maintained. Ensure completion of quality records, ensuring maintenance of process-capability.
12. Management and supervision of sub-contractors.
13. Liaison with the procurement department to ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered to meet the project programme requirements.
14. Preparing & maintaining the construction phase plans, inductions, toolbox talks alongside the site manager
15. Managing plant, equipment and materials to suit the programme delivery.
Control of costs

Liaison with the Health & Safety Manager
20. Working together to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results.
21. Dealing with improvement notices where applicable.

23. Working together to ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are achieved.
24. Dealing with actions from technical audits.
25. Development / maintenance of competency levels for all site representatives.
Ensuring materials, plant, equipment & resources are scheduled and available to meet the site requirements.

Qualifications
35. Extensive experience of delivering multidiscipline construction projects ideally with Gas Pipeline and/or AGI/Compressor Station experience.
36. Experience working with clients including National Gas, Cadent, NGN, SGN would be preferred.
37. Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
38. Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices

43. Willing to travel on a weekly basis.
