Who is currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join their growing finance team, this is a newly created role so you will have the opportunity to support in implementing all new processes and procedures and support in the day-to-day running’s of the busy accounts function.
This role is a fantastic role work closely with Finance Director and Controller. This position will suit someone who enjoyed working in a hands on environment completing in a variety of transactional tasks.
What will the Finance Assistant role involve?
Processing purchase ledger including support with prepayments and accruals;
Responsibilities in sales ledger and credit control on a daily basis;
Complex reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving queries;
Monthly reporting for month-end close
Month end and year end preparation assistance and working closely with senior management.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:
It’s essential that applicants have a detailed understanding of transactional finance including sales ledger, credit control and reconciliations.
An AAT studier is advantageous although not essential, study support is offered;
You will be confident dealing with people at all levels, this includes senior management and students;
A requirement is a confident skillset level using accountancy systems and Excel.
