About this role: For All years within the school, this school is seeking a full-time SEN teacher who has experience with working with student with extra support within the classroom. For the students to reach their greatest potential within the school, you are expected to deliver inspiring and motivating lessons. It is required of candidates to organise and facilitate a stimulating and motivating learning environment for the students. You will work with a welcoming, close-knit team that values collaboration and co-plans assignments to guarantee best practices and uniformity in all classrooms. The candidate will also be expected to help with planning and finding resources to help the students. A successful candidate for this position will have a QTS or PGCE with experience with relevant SEN experience. Candidates should also be confident in their ability to teach the material and be able to plan multiple lessons ahead of time for various year groups. Finally, candidates should be familiar with the current curriculum and understand what kind of support the students will need before class to ensure that they meet their goals for the term. and an ability to implement behavioural and emotional management with the child, demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of all pupils including, where appropriate, those with special educational needs and disabilities. Candidates should also be confident in providing differentiated, engaging learning opportunities and therapeutic interventions for individuals and small classes with a variety of complex needs, including social, emotional and mental health needs & school avoidance, using a primary model of teaching
