Senior Structural Engineer - required for our client Home based in the South and London, The Senior Structural Engineer will be an experienced Structural Engineer with defect, diagnosis experience carrying out a range of Structural Surveys using innovative Technology.
The Senior Structural Engineer will be working for a company that operate across the UK specialising in Structural Inspections supported with a Structural Design team. The Structural Engineer will be field based providing structural inspections using new digital technology on a range of Residential, Commercial and Historic Buildings.
Senior Structural Engineer Position Overview
1. Communicate with sales staff to plan survey delivery
2. Inspection of all types of buildings and structures
3. Preparation of digital reports, live on site
4. Preparation of specifications for remedial works
5. Providing technical support for Buildings Insurance claims
6. Working on subsidence, fire and storm damage
7. Reporting to the Director and providing progress reports
8. Developing new ideas
9. Using the latest software's
Senior Structural Engineer Position Requirements
10. Degree within Civil or Structural Engineering
11. Experience of inspection and reporting on structural defects
12. Excellent knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction
13. Structural Design Experience
14. Buildings Insurance claims experience
15. Working towards chartered status with MIStructE or MICE
16. Full UK driving licence and own car
17. Ability to work alone
