We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide professional administrative executive support to the School of Philosophy, Politics and Economics (SPPE).
As the Executive Administration Manager, you will oversee and manage administrative tasks of the School, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality support are delivered. You will lead a team of Executive Support Officers, manage budgets, and support on the enhancement of processes and implementation of service improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Line management responsibilities of 2x Executive Support Officers and 1x Placement Administrator.
* Co-ordinating the delivery of services to the School.
* Managing in-house financial, travel and HR reports.
* Secretarial duties to the School and School Management Board meetings, including minute taking and organisation of meetings.
* Approving expense claims via the University’s system, Agresso, and recording spend
* Health and Safety Coordinator role of the School
You will have:
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to provide a high standard of customer service
* Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals
* Familiarity with online processes and web-based systems and with standard office systems and procedures
* Experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative support role
* Experience of minute taking
* Experience of resolving issues and queries independently, providing advice on specialist but established procedures to a range of stakeholders
This is a full time, fixed term post from 10th March to 31st December 2025
