We are creating the position for an Apprentice Sports Coach to join our committed and enthusiastic team with effect from February, offering a salaried route to those interested in gaining a .
At the direction of the PE Lead and Senior Leadership team the successful applicant will support the provision of high-quality sports and fitness sessions across the school. Delivering PE sessions, clubs as well as enabling the school to participate in competitions and activities to motivate and inspire pupils to get active.
The role is across 52 weeks of the year to enable the successful candidate to complete their training and gain their coaching qualification around receiving a blend of hands-on experience, with the added benefit of working alongside a team of experienced teachers and mentors within the school. This is a fixed term position which will end once the apprenticeship is completed.

This role falls within the strategic partnership between the Isle of Wight Council and Hampshire County Council.
