Management Accountant, Gloucester, 40,000 - 45,000 plus benefits, 12 month fixed term contract
Maternity cover position for an experienced Management Accountant in a fast growing business. Working closely with the customer service and operations teams, investigating revenue discrepancies, analysing monthly variances, and reporting to senior finance leaders.
Responsibilities include:
1. Revenue Accounting and Analysis - ensuring accuracy across entities, analysing monthly revenue, accruals, deferrals, and variances.
2. Management Accounts - updating balance sheets, owning monthly management accounts, reviewing P&L, preparing year-end audit packs, supporting statutory reporting, helping with budgeting, process improvements, and ad hoc tasks.
You will have advanced Excel skills, be well organised and have proven Management Accounting experience. Knowledge of Sage 200 and Xero would be advantageous.
