About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work at a friendly and supportive school in the Black Country. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified HLTA who is passionate about helping children succeed and eager to support teachers in delivering high-quality education. You will play a key role in enhancing the learning experience for our students and helping to create a positive, inclusive environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects.
* Lead small group sessions and occasionally cover whole classes, ensuring continuity of learning.
* Support children with varying abilities, including those with additional needs, by providing tailored assistance.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and supporting students’ development.
* Assist in the preparation of lesson materials and contribute to the organization of classroom resources.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent) with proven experience in a school setting.
* A positive and proactive attitude towards helping students and working within a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
* Knowledge of behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
* Experience using digital learning tools and resources.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
