Our team is scaling rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Industrial Robotics Engineer to play a critical role in our mission. Short term, we are leading a Green Fourth Industrial Revolution, disrupting the millenia-old metal-forming industry with our patented technologies. Long-term, we will take this off-planet and develop Lunar Manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Robotics Integration: Develop, program, and optimize robotic systems using Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka 6-axis robots for advanced additive manufacturing applications. Implement robotic welding systems, including WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) and related technologies. Programming & Automation: Program robots using native Fanuc/Kuka/ABB software and/or Python to integrate with our proprietary software platform. Design, test, and troubleshoot kinematic models and motion planning algorithms. Prototyping & Development: Collaborate with the mechanical engineering and additive manufacturing teams to develop robotic solutions for industrial-scale applications. Support & Maintenance: Provide technical support for robotic systems, including maintenance and process optimisation. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in an R&D and production environment. Requirements Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience with Fanuc, ABB or Kuka robotic systems, particularly in programming and integration. Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience in industrial automation. Strong organizational skills and ability to self-manage to an extent given the nature of a start-up. Strong communication skills; we work in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Skills & Experience: Python programming experience, particularly in robotics and process automation. Previous experience working in a startup environment, contributing to fast-paced and innovative projects. A background in mechanical engineering, with hands-on experience in prototyping and manufacturing. Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
