We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Special Needs Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in the heart of Newham. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

The school has a diverse student population and a well-established SEN department that provides tailored support for students with a range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual learning needs of students with SEN.
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with a variety of special needs.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure progress.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students in line with their specific needs.
Support students in building their confidence, social skills, and emotional resilience.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with secondary-age students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
A passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding of the latest SEN educational strategies and best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
