We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dedicated Primary School in Tilbury. This is a full-time role with a temporary to permanent contract, ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on young learners.
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students, leading small group interventions, and delivering lessons when required. Your role will involve working closely with students who have varying abilities, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the teaching and learning within the classroom, working alongside the class teacher.
* Lead small group interventions and provide one-on-one support when necessary.
* Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring consistency in learning.
* Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials.
* Provide pastoral care and support for students, helping them develop social and emotional skills.
* Monitor and report on student progress to both the teacher and senior staff.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar HLTA role is desirable but not essential.
* A strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Relevant HLTA qualifications or equivalent.
