The Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department. This position involves assisting customers and internal teams with their parts needs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Duties
1. Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their needs.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimised.
3. Process orders and manage incoming and outgoing shipments of parts.
4. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to provide updates on order status.
5. Utilise Excel for tracking inventory and generating reports as needed.
6. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when interacting with clients and suppliers.
7. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to facilitate efficient operations.
8. Provide support in training new staff members on parts department procedures.
Skills
1. Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
3. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base.
4. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
5. A solid understanding of phone etiquette to ensure professional interactions.
6. Ability to maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a customer-based job. They will have good basic computer skills, an eye for detail, and a love for working in a fast-paced environment.
Car parts knowledge is desirable; however, full on-the-job training will be provided.
Must be confident with a good phone manner, polite, and able to communicate well with customers.
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated individual interested in working within our fast-paced office environment.
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.30 pm
* Saturday 8.30 - 1.30 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
