Main duties of the job
As a registered Pharmacist with the GPhC or due to register in the Summer 2025, you will have a good understanding of medicines and the legal framework for dispensing prescribing and administration of medicines and will support the multidisciplinary team to care for our patients.
In addition to structured clinical rotations, monthly clinical education session on a variety of topics are provided. We encourage all of our foundation pharmacists to sign up to the NHS England Newly Qualified Pharmacists programme. This training will be supported by a network of experienced pharmacists and technicians. We want our staff to continue to develop their skills, following 12 months experience we will support the post holder with post-graduate clinical qualification and non- medical prescribing. We have an established band 6 to 7 progression through portfolio development.

1. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council or currently undertaking approved foundation pharmacist training in the United Kingdom
Qualifications

2. Vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

3. Completed foundation pharmacist training and passed registration exam.
