PMO Manager - Digital & Transformation

I'm currently working with a pioneering organisation who are on an innovative change and transformation journey. Within their portfolio there are several projects lined up around digital, IT & customer focused programmes of work.
As the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality, governance and delivery across the digital portfolio of projects. This will mean you will ensure all projects adhere to best practice and that appropriate processes are in place to track deliverables, costings and quality. You will work closely with a team of Project Managers - providing them insight on the wider portfolio and where immediate focus lies.
You will also be responsible for establishing proper governance and championing the use of various project management tools. Alongside this you will maintain proper portfolio logs, budget setting and tracking and resource planning.
To be considered for this role you should be able to demonstrate:
1. Previous experience as a PMO Manager
2. Understanding of best practice tools and management
3. Excellent partnership and stakeholder skills
4. In depth knowledge of project governance
As mentioned, you will be at the forefront of some pioneering projects. There is an excellent team culture and benefits on offer. You will need to be on site a minimum of 2 days a week.
