Multi skilled engineer

We are currently recruiting for a permanent Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established client based in Hereford.

Our client is a busy manufacturing company, and they are looking to add new members to their team.

Contract: Permanent

Shifts:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts rotating through Early, Day, and Afternoon shifts.
40 hours a week

Salary: £18.03 per hour

The main purpose of this role is to maintain, repair, and improve various equipment, systems, and facilities within the organisation. This position requires expertise in multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and sometimes even software or HVAC systems.


Responsibilities and Activities

Maintenance & Repair:

* Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
* Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimise downtime through efficient repairs.

Installation & Commissioning:

* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
* Ensure that installations meet operational and safety standards.

Continuous Improvement:

1. Identify areas for process improvement and implement engineering solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
