Are you passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people, working with students aged 7-11 on a 1:1 basis?
On behalf of a specialist setting located in the M6 area of Salford, I am currently recruiting for a behaviour support assistant who can provide intervention for students who require positive role models to assist throughout the school day. This role will be supporting young people who display challenging and sometimes violent behaviours with the aim to motivate and positively influence students to access education.
We require:
* A firm but fair approach to teaching and learning
* A positive role model with the ability to form strong relationships
* The ability to work collaboratively with both internal staff and external agencies
Prior experience working in specialist youth settings, care, sports or similar are preferred however not essential.
Daily rates in excess of £85-95 p/day – subject to negotiation.
