Role: Welsh Speaking Primary School Teacher
Location: Cardiff - CF5
Hours: Full time (08.30 – 15.30)
Pay: £166.32 per day (paid weekly)
Start Date: January
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Welsh Median Primary School in the CF5 area of Cardiff to appoint a proactive, dedicated, and passionate KS1 Teacher. This position is to start after the Christmas break a PPA Teacher so the ability to plan and prepare lessons with Welsh fluency is a crucial part of the role. The school welcomes applicants from all experience and would be happy to appoint a Welsh Speaking Newly Qualified Teacher or a Fully Qualified Teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective primary education lessons in Welsh to students.
Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and teaching materials.
Assess and track students’ progress, providing feedback and support.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure students’ well-being and academic success.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance your teaching skills.
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary teaching qualification.
Fluency in Welsh and proficiency in English.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for teaching and promoting the Welsh language and culture.
