A growing, multisite business is recruiting an HR Advisor to manage ER cases and support an HR Manager.
Your new role
This is a new and exciting 'hands on' HR position, supporting a team of 100+ staff across multiple sites (some travel may be required). Duties include but not limited to:
1. Employee relations casework, including managing sickness cases, absence management and performance management.
2. Managing investigations, grievances and disciplinaries.
3. Note-taking for ER meetings.
4. Administration for T&A system.
5. Acting as an HR mentor and support for managers and directors across the business.
6. Supporting withpliance, payroll, and H&S administration as and when required.
7. Managing end-to-end recruitment from advert through to onboarding.
8. Managing new onboarding programme/processes.
9. Managing agency relationships.
10. Supporting and promoting thepany's benefits platform.
11. Dealing with daily HR enquiries, face-to-face or via telephone and email.
12. HR admin including starters and leavers paperwork, holidays, all personnel updates.
13. Working on PeopleHR and being actively involved in project work to support this system.
14. Support and cover for the HR Manager when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job, you will require
15. To be an active listener with great people andmunication skills.The ability to deal with people at all levels.To have a minimum of 2/3 years current generalist HR experience.CIPD Level 5 (preferred)A down-to-earth approach to your work with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude.This job would suit a ‘hands on’, approachable candidate with a warm personality, a strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a small team. You will be a support for the HR Manager whilst also managing your own workloads on a day-to-day basis and being the first point of contact for all employee enquiries.
