Engineering @ 365 Ltd is partnering with a well-established engineering organisation to recruit a skilled and experienced NDT Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for its quality standards and innovation in the engineering sector.
The Role
As an NDT Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality assurance processes through non-destructive testing (NDT) technologies. Working closely with the NDT Supervisor and other team members, you will ensure equipment, processes, and testing standards meet industry requirements while adhering to safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct non-destructive testing using disciplines such as UT, DPI, MPI, and visual inspection.
* Ensure compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations regarding NDT processes.
* Address customer concerns related to NDT methods and processes.
* Stay updated with the latest NDT technologies, attending additional training as needed.
* Maintain required personal qualifications and records, such as PCN certifications.
* Support the NDT Supervisor in maintaining and calibrating test equipment and standards (e.g., UT test blocks).
* Promote and maintain 5S standards in the NDT area.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
* PCN Level 2 certification in at least one or preferably two NDT disciplines (e.g., UT, DPI, MPI, visual).
* Strong understanding of NDT standards and methods.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
* Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Familiarity with 5S or similar workplace organisation methodologies.
* Proactive approach to learning and development.
