A large Utilities Company is now looking for a Finance Director.
Utilities Background essential.
Reporting to the Group Financial Director Managing Director.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To provide other financial information to senior managers.
2. To allocate financial resources.
3. To manage cash and working capital.
4. To manage credit risk.
5. To provide financial expertise in the development of customer and supplier relationships.
6. The management of the finance team.
7. Membership of the management team.
8. To support the Managing Director in the development and implementation of commercial strategy and business plan.
9. To produce accurate and timely management information and reporting schedules, contracts, etc.
10. To liaise with external auditors.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Be PQE, ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified.
2. Have previous experience of contract/job (small works) costing.
3. Have commercial awareness.
4. Have strong people management skills.
5. Be an effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
6. Have the ability to contribute to day-to-day operations, as well as strategically.
