About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and strategic Head of Content to join a fast-growing, dynamic tech start up. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a global editorial strategy that aligns with the company’s brand vision. You’ll oversee all aspects of content creation, copywriting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that high-quality, impactful content is delivered across a variety of customer touchpoints. From email marketing to social media and product messaging, you will lead a team of writers and content creators while driving consistent and engaging communication that enhances the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute an editorial strategy in collaboration with SEO, Social, and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with brand goals to drive cohesive customer experiences and enhance engagement.
* Lead a team of copywriters to produce impactful, customer-centric copy across various channels, strengthening brand voice and promoting campaign effectiveness.
* Manage the editorial calendar and oversee content creation across email, social, blogs, and product messaging to ensure consistent, timely, and engaging communication.
* Champion the company's tone of voice, vision, and messaging, keeping content relevant to customer profiles and industry trends to build credibility and loyalty.
* Oversee localisation efforts to adapt content for global markets, expanding the brand’s resonance and reach internationally.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver unified content strategies that align with product, marketing, and tech initiatives, ensuring smooth project workflows and high standards of quality.
* Partner with product teams to communicate new features and product benefits effectively, supporting customer understanding and enhancing brand positioning.
Experience
* Experience in copywriting, content strategy, and editorial strategy in a leadership capacity.
* Familiarity with product marketing and experience working closely with tech/product teams.
* Experience in content localization and adapting messaging for international markets.
* Strong knowledge of CRM, SEO, social media, and digital marketing best practices.
