Job Description
Working for a leading Commercial organisation as a Bid Manager in the Health and Social care sector. This is a permanent role paying up to £50K. Working from home plus once a month based in the Northern regions.
Key Duties:
* Manage and produce bid response documents for RFI, ITT, RFP, PQQs and tender response to a high standard, in accordance with client requirements and in line with the bid framework process.
* High level of attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.
* Manage the commercial tendering process ensuring timely visibility of all opportunities, lead on, write and project manage bids and proposals from beginning to end. Identify, bid for and maintain position on appropriate sector frameworks.
* Management and oversight of the bid team during the bid process and making sure deadlines are met initial review of Tenders, collation of deadlines and the distribution of questions to the relevant departments.
* Responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentation material.
* Ensuring that bids are submitted on time and are as complete and accurate as possible, whilst also best reflecting the company’s services and abilities
* Working with the Marketing Department source and co-ordinate design input to ensure the visual standard of all documentation and presentation material is engaging
* Assisting with the review of contract performance by collating data from Salesforce as well as customer feedback forms and performance review meetings.
Key Skills:
* Strong Bid knowledge at least 7 years plus and ability to work with internal team to build relationships for winning bids.
* Bid knowledge in Local authority/ social care in the public sector would be an advantage.
* High levels of attention to customer relationship and a great commercial awareness
* Working Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud an advantage. A self-starter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation, but also work closely with other team members
