Senior Electronics Engineer Location: Bristol – Hybrid (3/4 days on-site per week) The Role: We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer to take ownership of the design, production, and delivery of PCBs and associated firmware for cutting-edge electromechanical projects. This role includes acting as the primary technical liaison with PCB suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional results. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively engage with both internal teams and external partners. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a key role in providing feedback to development teams, driving continuous improvement in our products and services. Key Responsibilities: Leading the development and implementation of electronics designs. Writing firmware in C++ (or C) to support project requirements. Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium (or Zuken, Capital, KiCAD). Applying experience in industrial automation, robotics, CNC, or CMM systems (preferred). Enhancing team performance through process improvements and technical contributions. Collaborating with engineering teams to review customer product and design requirements. Establishing and maintaining robust process controls and design documentation. Key Skills & Experience: Demonstrable expertise in electronics design and firmware development. Practical experience with PCB design software and methodologies. A proven track record in delivering electronics solutions within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industrial automation or robotics technologies is highly desirable.
