The Role
As a Child Development Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Child Development, following the national curriculum and meeting exam board requirements.
Help students understand the stages of physical, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of all students.
Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and incorporate innovative teaching strategies into your lessons.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching Child Development or a related subject at Key Stage 3 and 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is a bonus).
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for working with young people.
Possesses strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Is committed to creating a positive impact on students’ learning and development
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
