Our client is currently looking for a materials controller / stores administrator to work at their manufacturing site, just outside Andover.
The ideal candidate will manage incoming materials, stores and provides a kitting service for upcoming equipment builds. They will also purchase materials,
The key requirements for the successful candidate are:
* IT literate and experience of using MRP and/or accounting software
* Accuracy and speed in goods in processes, purchasing and kitting of equipment builds
* Ability to organise stores and maintain accurate stock counts
* Ability to manually handle stock components (<10kg) around the business.
* Able to read and understand bills of materials for complex assemblies.
* Ability to support light lower skilled mechanical and electrical assembly work in peak periods.
Desirable Competencies:
* Experience in engineering / manufacturing businesses.
* Familiarity with purchasing systems of typical engineering suppliers
Hours:
Ability to work 30 -37.5 hours per week on site in accordance with companies flexi time. Start anytime between 07.30am - 08.45am
Salary:
£13.00p/h - £14.00p/h
This is a 6 month + opportunity with a view to going permanent for the ideal candidate
