Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation working in partnership with several market-leading automotive manufacturers. We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Executive to join the Technical Training team at the Volkswagen National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate will ensure that product launches, new courses, blended learning and a variety of tactical projects are delivered to timescales and budgets under the direction of the Learning Content and Production Manager.
Candidates should ideally have a Learning & Development background, and possess significant demonstrable Project Coordination experience, and evidential first-hand working experience of web-based project management software and reporting mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities
5. Plan and implement projects in line with brand expectations according to agreed process
6. Agree project scope, goals and deliverables to the Volkswagen Group, Brands and Learning Services
7. Report on projects to meet contractual obligations and meet stakeholder expectations
8. Ensure that quotes, budgets, Purchase Order’s and invoices are processed and communicated in line with current procedures
9. Manage supplier relationships – monitor performance against service level agreements, chair regular meetings, maintain open feedback regarding service and monitor spend against budget
10. Facilitate effective project meetings as and when required
11. Maintain excellent communication regarding project status to all stakeholders
12. Manage project resource allocation to a range of teams and external agencies / stakeholders
13. Manage the course scheduling logistics including pilots and Train the Trainer
14. Show clear problem / conflict solving resolutions when applicable
15. Ensure seamless flow of project activities
16. Ensure working relationships are effective for timely project completion
17. Undertake your duties in a professional and punctual manner, reflecting and championing Calex, and VWG’s values and expectations at all times
18. Work closely with the Calex Account Management team, and other key personnel, to manage its relationship with VWG, and ensure that KPIs are achieved
19. Adhere to and follow all policies and procedures
20. Undertake ad-hoc reporting and administration, as well as attending meetings (onsite and offsite) as deemed necessary by Calex and VWG
About You
21. Experience in project co-ordination / management
22. Experience in co-ordinating multiple projects for high profile customers
23. An engaging and dynamic communicator
24. Good level of IT knowledge
25. Good working knowledge of Smartsheet
26. Experience of strong financial control and risk management
27. Ability to guide and support group decisions to align with organisational goals
28. Excellent all round project planning and organisational skills
29. A team player yet capable and willing to work on own initiative
30. Comfortable with taking an innovative approach to the solution of business delivery issues.

Salary & Benefits
Upto £28,000 dependent on experience, plus car allowance of per month (Total £3942 pa)

Employment
The successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK Calex are a specialist automotive training provider and provide training staff and expertise including Trainers, Developers, Digital Learning Experts, and Administrators to Volkswagen Group UK. The successful candidate will join an established team, at the VWG National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
Place of Work
VWG National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes.
We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely. Time spent in the office may change.
There will also be times when it may be necessary to work from alternative locations, VWG facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.
