Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a successful manufacturing business in South Yorkshire to recruit a Production Manager to join their team.
Our client is looking for an ambitious and driven Production Manager with excellent communication, analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for a small team of Production Operatives within a busy technical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Production Manager role will include:
1. Performance Management including implementing and driving KPIs
2. Identify any training or development needs within the team and action appropriately
3. Manage operational budgets for the department and deliver continuous improvement (including CapEx) projects
4. Ensure product stocks are accurate to facilitate the delivery of the production schedule
5. Develop relationships with key stakeholders within the business to maximise machinery output and monitor quality and health & safety standards
We would be keen to speak with experienced Production Managers with the following skills and experience:
6. A degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is desirable
7. Experienced in leading and managing teams within production manufacturing environments
8. Financial and commercially aware with budget control experience
9. Excellent communication and leadership skills
10. Target driven and analytical
11. IOSH qualified
12. Proven examples of implementing process improvements and leading on CAPEX projects
