We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for a school in Stoke Mandeville. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs. As a SEN Teacher, you will work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and parents to provide personalised and effective learning experiences for students with diverse abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement IEPs tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that educational goals are achievable and measurable
Create and deliver lessons using a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom
Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment
Regularly assess and monitor the progress of students, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to address individual needs
Maintain open and transparent communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies for continued support at home
