You bring experience in either children's services, with a sound understanding of the law and development theories, or adult social work, with competencies in managing mental capacity issues and safeguarding adults. What the Job Involves The role involves safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable children, young people, and adults by providing high-quality social work practice in assessment, interventions, care planning, and reviews. You will engage in effective partnership working, collect and maintain thorough records and reports, and ensure that thorough and objective assessments are made in line with the Social Services and Well-being Act and MCA Code of Practice. You will handle a defined caseload, participate in multidisciplinary approaches, and stay updated with current legislation and best practices. Additionally, the role requires promoting empowerment and inclusion, assessing risks, and developing care and support plans in collaboration with all stakeholders, including children, adults, their carers, and significant others. You are expected to engage in ongoing learning and development activities while ensuring the non-discriminatory provision of services and taking on health and safety responsibilities as needed. Your work will involve both remote and on-site adaptable practices across various locations. The role calls for flexibility, including potential evening and weekend hours.
