An exciting new job opportunity has become available for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
This care home provides care and rehabilitation to young and old service users. It is a spacious, elegant eighteenth-century building converted to provide residential and nursing care for long and short term needs.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse, your key duties include:
* Responsible for driving and running the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. This includes observation, medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team while delivering best practice continually.
* Accountable for ensuring policies and standards meet our high clinical standards and offering clinical guidance to the whole care team, being crucial in assisting with all CQC tasks.
* Forge a real connection with our residents and their families, giving them the kindness, support, and care they deserve.
* Take responsibility for the well-being of our residents and ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
* Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
* Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for each of our residents.
* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* Ability to lead a team of care staff.
* Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
* A team player who engages well with others.
* Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards.
* Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role.
* Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £21.88 per hour, with an annual salary of up to £50,061.44. We currently have permanent vacancies for both day and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
