Role responsibilities
The Dynamics365 (D365) Finance and Operations (F&O) Implementation Manager will be focused on leading and architecting solutions for D365 Finance & Operations with project accounting for TfW Rail Ltd, including managing the project solution scope with internal customers, project management to deliver the solution, and providing the application functionality leadership and direction for project team members tasked with implementing the solution.
1. Create and manage formal project governance Project Plans, Communication Plans, Roles and Responsibilities, Risk & Mitigation and decisions made by managing the project team, project scope, project schedules, project risks/issues, and expectations that will ensure the project is delivered to the business on time, to cost and quality.
2. Lead the project steering committee meetings and facilitate communication with all parties involved which will include the Internal Project sponsors, third Party configuration partners sponsor to ensure the governance of the decisions needed to steer the project to a successful completion.
3. Be the subject matter expert for the application design, feature optimisation, scalability, user experience and visualisation by engaging with stakeholder and by providing best practices and guidance in an effort to integrate and/or improve our methodologies and end customer experience to ensure the integrity of the data this will produce in the system.
4. Develop functional specification designs including definition of functional requirements and business scenarios that incorporate best practise, strong controls, and segregation of duties that ensure the in-system process will operate effectively with reduced manual intervention.
Who we’re looking for
5. Prior implementation experience of D365 F&O.
6. Understanding of AGILE/ Waterfall methodology principles and overall knowledge of D365.
7. High proficiency in D365 F&O particularly in the finance and project accounting modules which include integration with other third-party applications.
8. Demonstrable project management experience in ERP enterprise project life cycle environment, including the management of planning, budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes and quality.
9. In depth knowledge of D365 F&O system with experience in helping to develop, design and configure solutions.
10. Proven track record of lifecycle implementations of D365 F&O.
11. Broad business process experience.
12. Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
