An exciting position as a KS2 Graduate Classroom Assistant is available at our vibrant primary school in Central Birmingham. Join in making a difference in the lives of Key Stage 2 pupils while gaining valuable experience in a supportive educational setting.
As a KS2 Graduate Classroom Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching and learning of Key Stage 2 children. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
2. Providing one-to-one or group support to pupils, aiding their academic progress and understanding.
3. Supporting the teacher in maintaining discipline and promoting a positive classroom environment.
4. Helping to create and organise educational resources to enhance learning experiences.
5. Engaging with pupils to facilitate their participation and encourage a love for learning.
6. Assisting in assessing and monitoring pupils' progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
Requirements:
7. A recent graduate with a strong academic background in any discipline.
8. Passionate about working with children and supporting their educational development.
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
10. Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable in a classroom environment.
11. Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
