Restaurant Manager
As the Restaurant Manager at Turnberry Resort, Scotland, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the AA 2 rosette restaurant, 1906 & In room Dining. Your primary objective will be to ensure the financial success of the outlets and maintain high standards of service and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the team to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
* Manage the restaurant's operations, including rostering, labour forecasting, revenue management, and inventory control.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and revenue growth.
* Collaborate with the Sous Chef to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
* Manage the Sommelier to ensure accurate wine lists and upselling targets are met.
* Respond to guest complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Candidate Specifications:
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
* Excellent grooming standards and ability to set a good example to team members.
* Previous experience in a luxury 5* resort or hotel as a Restaurant Manager is essential.
* Knowledge of F&B standards, quality of presentation, service, and products.
* Knowledge of local Food Hygiene and sanitation standards.
* Ability to prepare and analyse data, figures, and transcriptions.
