Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and effective business support to the various demands arising fron the Trust IPC team.
This is an interesting and fast paced role; the successful applicant will need to demonstrate their ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines and be able to work using their own initiative. The successful applicant will be a self-starter; they much have excellent planning and organisational skills and have demonstrable experience in providing comprehensive business support.
The ideal candidate should have a flexible and proactive approach to work, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have excellent knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.

Job responsibilities
The Band 5 Business Support Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our busy IPC team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and business support, managing day-to-day operations and supporting the team in delivering high-quality care.
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide effective business support to the IPC team, including diary management, high quality minute taking and coordinating meetings, reports and various project support work.
2. Oversee financial administration, including budget monitoring, procurement and invoice processing. Will require knowledge and experience of using Oracle.
3. Assist in the preparation or reports, presentations and data analysis to support decision making.
4. Manage HR related tasks such as recruitment, onboarding and staff development. Will require knowledge and experience of using ESR and Trac systems.
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
6. Develop and implement efficient administrative processes to improve workflow and productivity.
7. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

8. Knowledge of information systems which includes the ability to operate and manipulate data from a database
9. Advanced data analysis skills to interrogate interpret and present complex data to meet customer needs
10. Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data and appropriate maintenance and storage of records.
11. Experience of operating Microsoft Office Suite
12. Ability to produce a high standard of written work
