The successful candidate will lead the programme of delivery through inspirational teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed in this subject covering all relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours as outlined by Ifate. You will plan and prepare innovative and effective lessons; assess and give feedback on a regular basis; mark and standardise work in line with the awarding body & college policy and procedures; you will monitor the performance of apprentices against the milestones set out for them and provide effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students in meeting or exceeding their target grade at End Point Assessment. It is essential that you have a strong knowledge of the qualification and the skills to assess this in practice. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students with varied teaching and learning strategies with an emphasis on learners making excellent progress in every lesson. You will also ensure that throughout delivery they are reviewing the apprentices progress and preparing them for the End Point Assessment. To be considered for this position, you should have experience of teaching and assessment to a high standard to ensure learners gain the skills and knowledge they need to achieve their qualifications successfully. You should have experience of delivering ICT qualifications at various levels, as well as excellent communication and employer engagement skills.
