Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen with our long-standing client in Newport to join them as Sales Director.
In this key position, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering excellent customer relationships. You will build, grow and develop a team of Sales Executives, and will collaborate with the senior leadership team to forge strong commercial growth.
The Role:
Recruit, train, and develop a team of Sales Representatives to deliver sales strategy.
Develop and implement creative sales strategies and methodologies.
Build & lead teams to achieve desired revenue targets, implementing reward structures and ensuring continuous training and improvement.
Participate in board meetings and report directly to the exec board.
Steer the direction of sales and marketing efforts in relation to industry developments, products, and services.
Identify new areas of development and create a strategic and targeted plan to actively engage those markets.
Take new products to market in a creative and exciting way that will engage at a customer and community level.
Oversee sales, marketing, SEO, and social media output, and ensure adherence to the department budget.
Develop and deliver annual sales and marketing strategy.Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a senior sales or marketing management role.
* Proven experience of building and developing teams.
* Strong focus on results; and a focus on training, methodologies and support.
* Excellent leadership skills.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and market trends.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Salary & Benefits:
The starting salary will be up to 60k. Once established and once you have built your team; a structured bonus / OTE will be put in place.
