We are recruiting a driven and motivated Conference and Events Manager to join a well-established company based in the Leicester area. This hands-on operational role is crucial in ensuring each day runs smoothly and efficiently, responsibilities include overseeing compliance and health and safety, leading a small team and providing high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities of the Conference and Events Manager role:
1. Ensure facilities comply with regulations and standards.
2. Carry out risk assessments.
3. Implement and monitor health and safety policies.
4. Train staff on protocols and conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
5. Provide high quality customer service to visitors.
Requirements of the ideal Conference and Events Manager:
6. Previous experience in a similar role ideally within the hospitality industry.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
8. Strong organisational and hands on leadership skills.
9. Flexible approach to tasks.
10. Good communication skills including customer service skills.
