AtkinsRéalis are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to support the continued growth of our Wales team.
We are looking for a collaborative, motivated individual to:
1. Provide effective delivery of project management services regionally across the advanced manufacturing, defence, healthcare, and education sectors.
2. Build successful working relationships with local and national accounts.
3. Support the Project Management team leader in the continued growth and development of the team, including growing your own sub-team.
4. Work with the team to continue to enhance the AtkinsRéalis Project Management Brand in the local marketplace and capitalise on the extensive pipeline of work.
5. Provide support to the regional management team in the growth of the sectors regionally.

Responsibilities:
18. Be a focal point and leadership figure for part of the well-established project management team.
19. Contribute to the strategic plans for the Welsh business and help maintain and develop business for the future.
20. Maintain service quality standards and a culture of continuous improvement and constructive expertise.
21. Take responsibility for some key projects and the account management and customer care for major clients.
22. New business proposals and tendering, liaising with the marketing team to ensure highest quality marketing and promotional materials.
23. Collaboration with other service streams, sectors and the wider AtkinsRéalis business to provide combined and innovative solutions improving our competitive advantage.
24. Ensuring the quality and timeliness of service delivery to clients, acting as primary interface to help build clients' confidence in the team.
25. Participating in relevant internal/external training initiatives.
26. Playing an instrumental role in generating repeat business, winning new work and developing new business opportunities.
27. Controlling workload and resources.
28. Developing key industry contacts.
29. Keeping abreast of industry issues and developments in best practice.
30. Managing and leading teams to enable a strongly motivated, engaged, and high performing function. Managing other individuals including undertaking performance and development reviews (PDRs) and mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues.
31. Providing guidance, leadership, and technical expertise to team members.
32. Competently communicating and interacting with others, in accordance with the organisation's values.
Requirements:
33. Member/Fellow of RICS or similar qualification is essential.
34. Pre and post contract commercial services experience.
35. Knowledge of the Welsh Construction Market.
36. Existing network of relevant contacts within the education or commercial sector.
37. Proven experience in a senior level role and delivering high value and challenging projects.
38. Detailed knowledge of our competitors, with ability to articulate and shape our differentiators.
39. Strategic vision of the market and industry and ability to focus our business to take full advantage of market conditions.
40. Proven track record of winning and developing new business opportunities.
41. Extensive experience in preparing bids, proposals, attending interviews and winning work.
42. Proven team management skills and experience.
