Job description
Working as a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker you will be playing a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable individuals on their journey to recovery.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited too:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' substance misuse history, mental health, and social circumstances.
* Collaborating with clients to develop personalised recovery plans, setting achievable goals and milestones.
* Offering emotional and practical support, helping individuals navigate challenges and develop coping mechanisms.
* Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
* Participating in community outreach programs to raise awareness and prevent substance misuse.
* Responding promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support and coordinating appropriate interventions.
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months - on the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today
* Caseload management experience
* Direct drug and alcohol experience with service users.
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is advantageous
