We are currently working with a multi-disciplinary engineering practice based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, as they look to add an Assistant BIM Manager to their team.
They have a reputation for providing consultancy services in all major sectors, successfully working on numerous projects for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors.
They advise on all stages of the construction engineering process, from pre-acquisition assessments to post occupancy. Their experience has enabled them to develop a clear objective to provide efficient and well-engineered design solutions within a framework of effective cost control with an uncompromising commitment to quality and service.
The successful applicant will be expected to form a key part of their team, producing accurate, detailed models, providing BIM support for the team while managing standards and project information requirements. BCAL take great pride in their technical excellence and are a forward-thinking company, all of their projects are delivered to BIM Stage 2 so knowledge of Revit is essential.
Requirements: A minimum of ONC in a relevant engineering course, 4+ years Revit experience with examples of previous projects within the construction environment, an understanding of ISO and able to provide and demonstrate excellent communications skills.
A high level of project management skills will be essential when managing your portfolio of varied projects. You will be given encouragement to offer ideas to improve the company and the opportunity to see them through. A determination to success and progress is highly important

The successful candidate will join the Civil Engineering team to provide highways, drainage and external works design on a wide range of projects, including both new build and refurbishment projects for public and private sectors.
