Contract type: Full time, Monday-Thursday, 8:15-3:30 (temp to perm), Friday: 8:15 – 2:30pm
Pay rate: £12.90-£13.50 p/h

A provision in the Rawtenstall area is looking to recruit a Youth Worker from November 2024. The responsibilities of the role will include:
* Work as part of a close team and understand the need to set high standards of practice.
* Build professional relationships with the children and young people.
* Play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
* Provide guidance, encouragement, and personalised support to students facing challenges.
* Contribute to creating a nurturing and empowering environment that promotes the overall well-being of our students.
Requirements to be successful for the role:
* Experience supporting students with SEMH in a professional or personal experience.
* Able to implement behaviour strategies confidently.
* Background of youth work, support work or any other experience of mentoring children and young adults.
* To be educated to A Level or have a relevant and recognised childcare qualification.
* Emotional and physical resilience to meet the challenges and demands of the role.
This provision for young people aged 11-16 years support students who have individual needs based on social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
