JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking an experienced, highly motivated pension professional with strong analytical and organisational skills and experience in Risk Transfer work. The candidate will be client facing and must also have strong technical as well as written and verbal communication skills. They will need to be driven and passionate about providing a high level of service.
The candidate will be part of the Risk Transfer Pensions team within Workforce consulting services.

Main duties and responsibilities:
9. Produce high quality, technically accurate client deliverables
10. Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, driving projects forwards
11. Establish effective working relationships with individuals internally and liaise with other advisers externally
12. Lead on certain aspects of the project, owning areas such as data, funding updates, production of papers
13. Contribute to coaching for junior members of our own team
14. Take a proactive role in the financial management of the client
15. Contribute to the development of personal and team knowledge
16. Build your own network of contacts through regular attendance at internal and external meetings, for example with insurers, providers and Professional Independent Trustees
17. Stay up-to-date with changes in law, topical issues in the industry and in the firm's products and services
18. Some travel and occasional overnight stays will be expected.
Essential skills and experience:
Must possess an Actuarial (IFOA) Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home
country.
19. Relevant UK pensions experience, gained in an actuarial advisory team
20. Recent experience in Risk Transfer work
21. Excellent team, organisational and communication skills
22. Plenty of self-motivation
23. The ability to work to tight deadlines effectively
Locations in London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, Reading, Bristol, East Midlands. Expectation to be in an office at least 2 days per week.
