Our client, is currently seeking a Chartered Town Planner to join their team, this permanent role offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days in the office and two days from home. The role strictly adheres to normal office hours, ensuring a structured work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing strategic planning advice on a variety of projects, from single units to large housing developments
Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
Conducting site appraisals and assessments
Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
Preparing detailed reports and planning documents
Monitoring and managing project timelines and budgets
Attending and presenting at planning committee meetings
Ensuring compliance with all relevant planning regulations and policies
Job Requirements:
Experience in town planning
RTPI Chartered or actively seeking to obtain this qualification
Strong understanding of planning regulations and policies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
Relevant degree in town planning or a related field
